~ Christmas in Marion Weekend ~

Christmas is a very special season in Marion. The city gives detailed attention to illuminating the streets and public grounds and the residents work at making their properties festive. The Grove is no exception. The house, including each guest room, and the exterior are aglow with the season's lights and decorations. Four beautiful trees are around the house for your enjoyment and exterior windows are hung with wreaths and red bows. Even the servant's house and gift shop get into the spirit. The grounds feature beautiful camellias, magnolia, and nandina and holly in red berries and beautiful greenery.
This year we are offering a weekend to experience Marion at Christmas. The weekend value package includes two nights in the inn along with the amenities that always accompany an overnight stay at the Grove, two gourmet breakfasts, a fireside dinner and tickets for a tour of homes in Marion. Friday
3:00 ~ 6:00 PM: Arrive and get acquainted
6:00 PM: Social Hour (after this you will probably not want dinner)
Saturday
8:15 ~ 9:30 AM: Breakfast is served
9:30 AM ~ 2:00 PM: Free Time (lunch is on your own)
2:00 PM: Tour of Homes begins at The Grove (bring comfortable walking shoes)
7:00 PM: Five course fireside dinner in the Dining Room at The Grove
Sunday
8:15 ~ 9:30 AM: Breakfast is served
11:00 AM: Checkout
